Kasetsart University, Chalerm Phrakiat Sakon Nakhon Province Campus, has foreseen the importance of research networking. As our campus is located in the Mekong River Basin and has a close relationship with communities there,  we perceive problematic conditions caused by current climate change. This results in the imbalance of the ecological system having an effect on man and other living organisms in many aspects such as biodiversity and occupations engaged in agriculture.

Therefore,  academics and researchers from private and public sectors who have expertise in various related fields are invited to join the international seminar for solving the problem as mentioned and sustainable development. It is believed that this project implementation will be a driving force to improve the problematic conditions. Actually, this international seminar will be held  under the topic entitled ‘’ The International Symposium Project on Biodiversity and Sustainable Development in the Mekong Basin (International seminar on Mekong Biodiversity and  Sustainable Development) based on the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). It is the development that takes into account the holistic nature of all aspects, balanced on the basis of natural resources, wisdom and culture. This is with the participation of all groups of people with generosity as well as mutual respect for self-sufficiency and equal quality of life.
